You will see exactly where your calories are coming from, and learn how certain foods make you feel, both immediately after consumption, as well as the following day. Once you reach your goals, you’ll also have a workable blueprint to follow any time the weight creeps back up.
Keeping a food journal manually can be a tedious task, but fortunately an invaluable app, the Calorie Counter and Food Diary by MyNetDiary is available for download onto your mobile phone or other device. It will help make your tracking and journaling infinitely easier.
Steps to setting up your Mobile Food Journal
Step 1. To begin, search for the MyNetDiary Calorie Counter and Food Diary app in the App store.
Step 2. After you find the App (in this case, the free version), install it on your mobile phone.
Step 3. After a successful installation, the App icon will appear on the screen. You’ll tap to open.
Step 4. You will carefully review the license agreement.
Step 5. Once the agreement is accepted, you can set up your profile.
Step 6. You will start by choosing a gender, starting weight and height.
Step 7. You then will guess what your activity level is (Active? Maybe…).
Step 8. Next, you’re asked to share your date of birth…
Step 9. You will then boldly choose a target weight….
Step 10. …and a target date to reach your target weight
Step 11. With your profile is complete, you now have the option to create an account.
Step 12. You’re now ready to make entries into your diary!
